How to Get a Bikini Ready Body

When you objective is to lose body-fat and gain some muscle so that you can look the best you can when wearing a bikini, there are a few minimum requirements that you might not be aware of. To make it simpler we have listed these important aspects of changing the way your body looks in a bikini in point form listed below.

Embrace Your Curves.

If you have gained some fat during the winter months you should take solace in the fact that the runway skinny models we used to see 10 years have changed to a much curvier look. Finding a bikini that fits, you by emphasizing your strongest features, whatever they might be, is the first step.

Get A Tan.

Everyone looks better with a healthy golden tan, even if it is something you spray on and wash off at the end of the day, it will certainly make you look a whole lot better when wearing a bikini. A tan will bring out definition on all body-parts showing, giving you a much leaner appearance.

Watch Your Carbs.

Refined carbohydrates only increase water retention and should be deliberately avoided and replaced with fruits and vegetables. Eating unprocessed grain will also help eliminate any water retention you are dealing with.

Stay away from carbonated beverages.

You are probably very aware that the calories in a can of Coke will be the same as a burger and fries which is why you rather drink diet soda. But the problem with diet sodas is that they are going to leave you bloated. When you do finally brave walking down the beach in that bikini it might be a good idea to drink water and lime that day.

Add High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to your workout.

Sports science has now clearly shown in conclusive empirical evidence that HIIT will burn more calories than any other type of exercise, including jogging, stair-climber, elliptical, treadmill etc. HIIT will also speed up your metabolism for up to 72 hours after a hard workout. The biggest advantage of HIIT is that you will need less time to get the same result. The experts agree no more than 45 minutes of HIIT on any day.

Moisturize.

When your skin is dry it gives a very dull appearance not improving any muscle tone that you might have. If you take the time to exfoliate once a week and to apply some kind of deep moisturizing cream people will not notice any serious perceived body flaws that you may think you have.

Stand Up Straight.

Probably the most important aspect of any woman wearing a bikini is posture. If you pull your shoulders back while you keep your head up a completely different image will be the result. It gives you tons of confidence even if you don’t feel it while it also pulls your stomach in improving the gentle curve of your sexy back muscles. For women looking to attract a man confidence makes a big difference and should never be overlooked.

Increase Protein Intake.

Eating protein burns calories but eating simple carbs adds calories. The process in digesting any protein you eat uses plenty of calories and is called TEF (thermodynamic effect of food). Protein will use 20% to 30% of the calories in the protein to get digested. Complex carbohydrates will use about 10% of the calorie vale to get digested and fat will only use 2% to 3% of the caloric value to become fully digested.

It is strongly advised to not fall into the trap of only eating protein, it is not healthy in the long term, protein intake should be increased to add calories burnt during digestion.

Add squats to your workout.

Squats are called the king of all movements for a reason. It will very effectively make a big difference to your calorie expenditure plus it will bring out the shape of your legs making them a lot easier to look at when wearing a bikini.

Drink More Water.

Staying well hydrated is key when trying to improve your skin, making it look clearer and will also help prevent any bloating. You should try to get in at least 8 glasses of water a day, which only comes from habit and forcing yourself to drink more. It does not have to be water as you could easily add flavoring or nectar proteins like Syntrax.
